Anniversary

Last night, we celebrated our anniversary by going out to dinner at Calvert's Restaurant in Augusta. We're calling it the beginning of our fourteenth year of marriage (see Triskaidekaphobia). The posting date is just a coincidence.

AVP in Atlanta

Here are a couple of photos (courtesy of AVP.com) from our trip to Atlanta to see the pro beach volleyball tournament. They actually built a beach in the parking lot of a big shopping center called Atlantic Station. We had a great time, despite a thunderstorm or two. The first shot is Mike Lambert (former Stanford star) spiking. The second picture is Kerri Walsh (former Stanford star and Gold Medalist) at the net. I played high school football many years ago with Kerri's uncle.
